After replacing the standard air filter with a K&N flat panel filter and getting no more performance out of it than standard filter
Is this possible, to fit in standard airbox, would u get any more power + torque?

I think your hardpressed for a response on this as im guessing most dont know a whole lot on the s60.. or volvos for that matter.. But how do you know you got no performance??? i mean your not going to really feel a difference.. Do you think you can really feel 10hp... its not going to be noticeable.

 

I highly doubt it, there have been no significant gains from any intake setup for these cars from what I've read. I think the only one that showed some gains is the "darintake". It's pretty much a cost free mod that requires you to drill holes in the bottom of the intake box.

I think the intake depends on what other mods are on the car. If you need more air then the stock filter can handle, then you will get more HP from it, if you are already flowing more air then needed, you will not notice a difference.

On my S4, I did the ITG panel filter, and really didn't notice anything, however, after doing the darintake, the car seams smoother, and more responsive.

Yeah sooks i know what u saying about noticing 10hp, i've taken my K&N out coz i was concerned about doing another MAF
I dnt own an S60 thankfully, and the only reason i was talking bout an S60 was coz i saw it on one, and no im diffinently no buying a S60!
