RE: Clutch Replacement
I have an 01 S4 Avant, my winter car when I can't drive the ZHP. I have the IR/Alcantera too, love it!!
Had the Avant for a couple of months, it's a solid car and fun to drive. But, doesn't feel as fast as the 330. I need to do something about that
What do you suggest?

RE: Clutch Replacement
yellow - I'm very suprised that your 330ZHP feels faster then the S4 (even stock) - unless the S4 is perhaps an auto. My S4 feels a good deal faster then the ZHP even if it is only perhaps 1/2 sec better to 60...its just the push yu back in your seat torque - while the ZHP power comes on so very smoothly and almost zero G like. Its amazing - my wife always freaks when I stomp it in the S4 - but full on with the ZHP and she hardly ever even notices. And my kids - who generally like it when I drive fast have expressed concern on occasion when accelerating (and cornering fast) in the S4 but never in the Bimmer - and I push both as hard as they will go. I used to have the APR chip where i could run stock mode - and I have to say it still felt faster then the ZHP - at least by a bit - thoguh I suspect they were awful close. I've often though to let someone drive the S4 and see if I could keep up in the ZHP...problem is few can really hammer it down and get the shifts as i do - so I still wouldn't know for sure. Anyway - you should get a chip, intake, new/better DVs, better TBB (Samco prob good enough...w/clamps), possibly downpipes ($) and exhaust - perhaps AWE or Autospeed. At the very least chip it. I also would suggest lowering and stiffening up the suspension - makes a world of diff...as does running on my 19" Yokos...good luck and have fun with it. have you pushed it at all in the rain or snow yet? World of difference from what you can do in the Audi - particularly with the right tires (I suggest Vredstein Wintracs for winter)...
