Default Charge pipe blowing off.

Hey guys first off I am new to this site and this is my first post. I was hoping the first post wouldnt be something wrong with the car. Well it is a 2001 s4, 6spd, 120k with fresh rebuilt top end engine. The car is completly bone stock other than the stage 1 chip that was installed today when I bought the car. Well I bought the car in jacksonville fl and drive it home to sav ga and drove it around all day today with no problems. Now the charge pipe keeps blowing off the throttle body when ever I get into the boost and let off the gas. I would have to say that its the bypass valves but not sure. I am very fimilar with boosted applications, any advice much appricated, thanks Nick. I will post some pics of the car soon, and some pics of my truck as well.2004 rcsb 5.3lt, t76 frontmount, 34x12x3 intercooler, 500hp.

Alright I took some vac hose and checked the bypass valaves on the car. The drivers side I can blow/suck through nipple. The drivers side I can only blow through. I know now that the drivers side is bad, but what about the pass side? I shouldnt be able to blow or suck through the nipple right? I guess the change in boost pressure messed them up. Whats the best bang for the buck, keeping in mind this is gonna be my daily driver that I dont plan on modding at all. Just did the chip for the hell of it. Thanks Nick.

This is one of the most common problems with the b5 s4. If you're going to replace your diverter valve I'd do both at the same time. I'm running forge 007 diverter valves. Check out ecs tuning.

Ok guys I hope somebody chimes in with some help. I replaced the bypass valves thinking that was my problem, and it wasn't. I now realize that the pipe is blowing off when the car starts to pull boost. The boot will not stay on no matter how tight I get the clamp. I have pulled boot and inspected and it looks good. Please help Nick.

do you have an aftermarket boot? silicone? when mine did this i replaced the boot and got new hose clamps. try a new hose clamp first.
