I thought that the differential oil (bmw/audi) lasts for the life of the car and it does not have to be changed.... I might be wrong.

Now I work at Valvoline and we use A Gl 5 based gear oil that I am almost certain is not compatiable with our cars. You have to use a GL 4 based fluid. I wish we could use the stuff becuase I get a phat discount but ofcourse I cant.....bullshit

The products they offer to you may be different then what they have here in the States. Over here we only offer GL 5 so check the fluid and see if it is GL 4. I just dont want to see you fill up on the stuff and blow the tranny and diff. Just go to the local valvoline or parts store that offers it and see if it it in fact GL 4. cheers

If the dealer says ok then I would do it. I read in our books at my work that they use GL 4 but the dealer knows best......sometimes ha
