Default buying s4, opinions?

i currently have a 97 a4 and am getting rid of it for s4 soon,
i have found multiple cars that i am thinking of buying
my main question is should i buy a moded 380 hp 2000 s4
--dont have spec sheet on me but
---- i know it has mtm stage 4, racing rotors, new turbos, bbs 18" rims, i think mtm exhaust, so many other things and is
going for around 27k with 48k miles on it, very clean , rs4 badge -- not really rs4
Alcon Front Big Brake Kit and Stasis rear rotor with coil over

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true
is link
i have driven this car and checked it out, very very nice car, just dont know if i should pay the 27k for it or if i should can find
something this nice for lower price

i just dont know if i can justify buying this cuz ive looked around and found other s4's with mods but not this nice for much less
any suggestions???']

27K i would go with no, that is way to high there is one like it on here buy sooks for 24K and look way nicer. if you really dont care about miles you can get a stage 3 car with 80 - 90 for 18 or under is say. jsut find a target price range and if you want to mod thte car or have it pre moded. goog luck with the find.

I paid $16,995 for my 2002 S4 tip, with 59k miles. Bone stock. I should have bought a stage 3 that had the timing belt done already and had upgraded suspension. Live and learn.

Just my opinion, but I think you're better off buying a stock car off of some old manand doing the mods yourself. Chances are if you get a fully mod'd car, it's been driven hard. Folks don't generally spend thousands to make their car go real fast and then baby it.

seems pretty expensive man, I would stay away from it or get him to bring that price down a bit considering you can pick up a stage 3 for under 20k (granted it will have more miles, but you'll have K04s which is the most "worrysome" area when you get into higher mileage S4s.

ya i was going to go chech this car out
http://denver.craigslist.org/car/674482527.html

seems like a much better buy, plus the color is sick and if i get a car that has mods already i want room to do some myself without
being lots of work or money, i do expect to put at least 5 - 10k in the car once i get, just trying not to get screwed
thanks every1

Disagree... theres nothing wrong with driving a car hard (obviously to a point).. but if its maintained properly it will be fine... Youd be better off getting it from an enthusiast that you know took care of their car....like it was their baby

metal...ill say if you do buy mine, you still have plenty of room..

I still wanted to do intercoolers, sway bar, some type of rs4 body mod, mostly being front bumper.. .wheels, higher wattage HID headlights, maybe a strip of LED fogs that run on parking lights... still room to work with...
