I will be trying out the stock, pump and race modes for my GIAC ECU on my otjherwise stock, TIP 2000 S4. Stock program should run OK with 100 octane for one run right? Anyone have any helpful hints or tricks? Obviously Ill be removing everything possible from the car. I have a new TBB and 710's and a new air filter. Just got a Syn oil change. Any other ideas? I was thinking about doin a quick darrinintake. Does anyone have a link to the original idea for this (not all the modified ideas that I always see. Im from PA and will be goin to Cecil county or Maple grove if anyone wants to meet up with me and a friend with a new gti.

should have no problem on 100 octane for a run or 2. itll be kewl so see the real differences. make sure u take the traction control and/or stability control off. if the car has them. and for the launch i say stage the car and hold the brake as hard as possible with the left foot the floor the car with the right. as soon as u see green just release the brake and never let off the gas.

doing this should make u pretty consistant at your 60's and quarter mile times.

i wish manuals were as easy to launch as automatics
