Default Brake warning light driving me nuts!!

My 96 S6 is driving me crazy!!! The brake warning light comes on if I press the brake pedal with anything more then light pressure and goes off when I release the pedal. I've replaced the brake fluid and installed a new brake accumulator (bomb) in the hope of fixing the problem but no luck it's still the same as before. I've bleed the brakes 3 times and still no luck, I get clean fluid with no air in the lines every time. The pads are new, the rotors are new, the flex lines are new, the accumulator is new, the fluid is new and the hydraulic pump fluid is new!! What am I missing? Any tipsor suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!![/align]

Replace the brake light switch. The switch is over the brake pedal.

Does that car have the little sensor on the pads? maybe you bent it or its pinched on or behind a brake pad. A friend of mine permanently has the brake light on his S4 cause someone that replaced the pads screwed with his sensor and now its gone by bye

The sensor is buried in the pad and after the friction material wears down it makes contact with the rotor andin turn completes the circuit for the brake pad light.
