whats your point this is my 11th turbo car i have had, i bracket raced for years and been on the street for more i have built many cars ran the **** out of them and never had one problem not to mention the fact that the tip has nothing to do with what im talking about and they are worthless the car will only go in a gear that it knows at that speed so it still shift up if you dont and it wont shift down til at safe rmps for the engine


what do you guys do for a living?

WOW, your going to fit in nicely, and if you have that much experience, you should be able to answer your own question.

Audis computers are progremmed to be safe, if it thinks you're hurting the car, it says no.

you just need a trip and ecu re program. i am sure apr has them or hell vast could give you a custom one if you are really going to dump some money into it. but as i am sure you know i would upgrade my brakes first before doing anything like that, or get that nasty brake fade when you dont want it.

 

how would i answer a question about a type of car i have never worked on. if i had exp on working on audis then i wouldnt be asking for info

Ok, how many had Bosh Motronic ME 7.1? The ECU is way smarter then anything you have ever worked on. You CAN NOT brake boost an S4, the ECU will not let you. You can recode the tip, & chip it to hold gears better. You can't "beat the ****" out of an S4, it will break & cost you a TON of $$.

Just try to throw a MBC on there & turn it, then see what happens....

Trust me, you have to forget most of what you know & start over.
