Default boost leak test diy

hey guys,

i know this is on here all the time, but i built the components to do a pressure test on my boost lines in my 02 s4. i must be missing something. when i go to fill the system, it sounds like the air is just rushing into my intake manifold. is there something i have to do with the throttle body? or maybe you guys know of a good post for a diy on the system test? and.... i don't have an air compressor.... so i'm using co2.... i wouldn't think it would be bad for the system... i'm hoping it won't screw up any sensors, right??
any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
