It was not that hard to hook up. I tapped into the vacuum line by the FPR. There was a little wiring to do but it wasn't bad. I hooked them up to the 2 wires that turn the lights for the vent on and off.

Ok, basically I hooked all the + wires together to the red one going to the light for the vent. Then I hooked the black one to the black wire for the vent light. There was one more that I didn't hook up at all. In your case since yours is tinted you will want to have them turn on when you turn your car on... unless you always drive with your lights on like me... or even your running lights... If you don't then you can hook the ignition wires up to one of the wires going to your OBD port. I don't remember which one it is though. Just any 12V ignition wire will work.

you can get detailed instructions on how to hook up the vacuum line and the electrical wires from either AWE'ssite... these are for the B5 S4 so get to it! http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/ventgauge.pdf
