Default big turbo upgrade

I was thinking of upgrading my 2000 s4 to a GT35R and was wondering if anybody has any expirience with this upgrade or has heard anything about it.

Single turbo conversions have been done by a couple of people, but theres not much information out there. Heres a 50 page thread from AZ http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=163483

There are no kits (that i am aware of) or instructions so you will have to custom fabricate everything and figure stuff out on your own.

I have to agree, the amount of work involved in converting a twin-turbo system to a single turbo is going to be a royal pain in the ***, especially with the amount (or lack thereof) room that's available on this car to house a big *** turbo like a GT35R or even bigger.

You'd be better off doing it to en evo and retrofitting your Audi interior in the evo

you guys crack me up.

The only thing you have to change out is your manifold/downpipe, oil line fittings and intercooling issue. the only difficult aspect to that are the manifolds, because no one makes a manifold kit...however I have single turbo kit that I am producing one my car hits the streets.

I currently have a single turbo setup in the works. Fully built head, built bottom end, with a single Bullseye s366 twinscroll turbo, which is larger than a GT40r.

It will make 650whp on pump gas.

Here is my new turbo next to my old K04

and here is another pic with the powdercoated valve covers and intake manifold

On another note, I suppose it is stupid for twin turbo Supras to do single turbo swaps....right?

They were about $25 for a pack of 3. Which will be included in the kit. But they are mostly cosmetic and don't really add a lot of power.
