Best FMIC size for minimal bumper cutting??

ooh ok i get it now...i have seen pictures of a chopped up stock bumper with an FMIC behind it...it looks badass for sure but for my car i want to try to keep it sleeper-ish...how do the rs4 side mounts compare to a front mount? they're much more expensive, but if they are more efficient i might consider those instead.

I actually plan to upgrade to ER side mounts at some point, they are just a tad smaller in core size than an FMIC but are just as good. Some guys on GT28R, 700 whp cars are running the ER's with no problems. But it shouldn't matter much, I only want to swap out my FMIC because I'd like to get an oil cooler and power steering fluid cooler to mount on the front when I begin tracking the car. Other than that, an FMIC works great.
RS4 ones are too small compared to what you can get for the same money. ER's are almost twice as big for the same price.
