B8 S4 turbo
This is from audiworld
We have confirmed with inside sources that the B8 S4 will debut with a brand new 3.0-liter TFSI bi-turbo producing 330-hp. With this powerplant Audi can nearly match the B7's 340-hp output while providing even better performance figures. Manufacturer published (conservative) 0-60mph drops from 5.4 seconds to very low 5's, while the accompanying combined fuel economy rises from 17 mpg to over 20 mpg

RE: B8 S4 turbo
yeah thats because it is a COMPUTER RENDERING and it NOT and official photo from audi. It came from a automotive reporting/news company. A graphic design person probably MADE that picture before we knew for sure it was a v6.
"We have confirmed with inside sources that the B8 S4 will debut with a brand new 3.0-liter TFSI bi-turbo producing 330-hp. So it IS a TFSI V6. Read the bottom of this image. And this was at the bottom of the article:
"In the mean time we have put together two brand new renders of the B8 S4 to help enthusiasts pass the time waiting."

Not sure I buy the fact that it will have 330hp though. If you look at it from a pure marketing perspective, people that don't know $hit about turbo cars, tuning, etc... would scoff at the fact that the B8 has fewer horsepower than the B7.
Now, to people like you and I, a 3.0L TFSI Twin Turbo V6 is friggin awesome, even if it has 10 fewer horsepower than its predecessor! But that's because you and I know that for a couple thousand clams we can get a chip and some exhaust and turn the car into a 400+ HP monster.
Keep in mind, Audi probably makes more money selling to people that go to the dealership to look at an A4 or an A6 but the salesman takes them to an S4 and says "now, for an extra $20 grand or so, I can get you into a sportier, more powerful, blah blah blah (insert sales pitch here)..." and that person will pick up the S4 not even knowing it's true potential. So, all of my blabbing aside, I would guess the B8 will have more than 330 HP from the factory.
Just my .02
