I threw a note up on the S4 sticky, but it didn't get any love, so I'm starting a new thread. I'd be surprised if this debate hasn't surfaced yet, but I sure couldn't find it anywhere on the forum.

So I'm a previous A3 owner, who sold his love for a bigger (read 'boring') car to support a kid on the way. Well we've seen the error in our ways and are selling the Honda Pilot and Mini Cooper S for an S4 and A4 Avant.

I get the feeling that the V8 in the B7 is really the more enjoyable drive if you don't mind the inferior gas mileage. I wanted ya'll to weigh in though? Any thoughts? Anyone owned both the V8 and the blown V6?
