I left my friend's house and I realized the ABS light was on along with the ESP (ESP works through ABS) so I stopped, cycled the key (turned the car off and started it up again) and it was gone, I hit the brakes and it came back on. Today, I took all the ABS sensors out and cleaned them all up, but still the same. I can't find a way to scan the ABS module, does anyone know how to reset it or scan it?

Just had a similar issue with my B6 S4. It turned out to be a brake switch that needed to be replaced.
