Default B5 S4 coolant flange and diy???

While swapping my summer wheels back on last weekend, I was taking a quick check under the car and happened to notice a few things. 1) Looks like I have some pink crusties on my cat converter, so looks like I'm in need of a new coolant flange? (very small drip, haven't had to add coolant since heater core job back in dec (atleast I can melt my face with the heat now!) Any diy's out there for a b5 s4? 2) I also noticed I'm developing a small leak in my output shaft seal. fluid level looks ok, but a little dirty. seems like simple job but any diy's for the job out there? Any help and input much appreciate!

havent seen a diy on that. are you sure it is not the aux. water pump? you are talking about the flange on the coolant hose on the rear of the engine?

yes, the flange in the rear. I believe it also houses the coolant temp. sensor
