I think what you're looking at is the stock oil cooler on the drivers side. It sits behind the stock drivers side smic which i guess would be another plus at going fmic because my fmic doesn't block airflow tothe oil coolerat all like the smic would. Thanks for the compliments, I couldn't be happier with my s4...well, Stage III upgrade would make me a little happier.

What about the radiator? your talking about not blocking an oil cooler but you are blocking the radiator. i would be worried in high temp climates of not enough air flow. what do you think?

Well, that was an initialconcern and I live in a hot climate area. But to date, my temp has never gone any higher than normal, even durring traffic and hot days. Actually, it takes longer to heat up in thesummer than normaland in the winter, the thermostat sometimes doesnt even get halfway. It does block part of the radiator, but not the airflow, the air will still flow through both the IC and radiator cores. It just flows through the IC first.I'm assuming thats why my car doesnt overheat.

Your welcome, let me know how it works out for you if you get it. I saw some listings on Ebay. I forgot to mention, get the T-bolt clamps upgrade that they offer so your pipes never blow off the silicones.

I bought it on Ebay.APT uses a company that sells it for them on Ebay. Its the same kit as their website, just costs like $700 less. I bought it for $799, they might still have it at that price, just do a search on Ebay for Audi S4 intercooler kit.

Ok, so after some inspection of my silicones because it felt a little off boost, I noticed a rip in one of them. Not sure what its called but its the throttle silicone boot that connects the return pipe to the throttle from the fmic and also connects to the diverter valve. Its the large one that kinda looks like an h. H-pipe maybe? Anyway, i did a temp patch up but does anyone know where I can get this part without having to buy the whole Samco silicone kit or going through the dealer? Oh yea, car is running much better too without that boost leak! I'm killing everything on the road! But I still need to fix it asap, im afraid that patch-up job wont last too long.
