Hi!

I'm new to the forum =] Just got my S5!!

-Brilliant black/black interior
-Prestige package
-19" tri-spoke wheels
-Sport rear differential

I'm super stoked and I'm looking for accessories/mods for my car to make it look sexier-was looking at powder coating the rims black + overlays but I was unable to find pictures of nicely modded existing S5's...anyone have any suggestions/pics to share pls? ...or any for sale? I live in Brea and wouldn't mind local pickup. Thanks!

Linda- congrats on your new ride. I'm by no means an Audi expert (just bought a 2005 S4 2 weeks ago) but FWIW...
The general consensus on mods to start with seems to be wheels, exhaust and chips.
As far as wheels go I would recommend checking out the S4 wheel gallery on this site to get some general ideas for wheel styles. Also check out Tire Rack, as you can check out wheels on your body style to get some ideas. I just picked up a set of TSW Snetterton's for my Summer wheels. IMO TSW has some nice styles and the site also has a gallery of pics.
As far as exhaust goes, I've been considering the Milltek system.

Eh, everyone does black but if you do, I would recommend a red wheel stripe around the outside. And please get an exhaust to show off that V8.

 

have you ever heard of the give-to-me mod? its when you give your car to me....people say it gives you like 30hp to the wheels though i havent seen any dyno results to prove this yet

 

Congrats on the buy - that's a seriously sexy car.

Rear sway bar is #1, if it's anything like the S4. Exhaust is next. Personally I wouldn't do black rims, but that's just a matter of taste. And if you're going to paint existing rims just make sure it's done very professionally otherwise it just cheapens the look of an otherwise beautiful car. I like BBSs myself, but they're obscenely expensive.
