3 hose gas stations.
A guy at my work made a good point the other day. He told me when putting premium gas in a car you should go to a gas station that has a hose for each type of gas. Because.. if its a single hose you are getting a couple gallons of regular gas thats left over in the line from the previous person. So your paying the extra money and getting a few crappy gallons. Plus the next guy then gets your good gas. Just something I thought Id share with yall.

If there was gas "left in the line" couldn't you technically go from pump to pump, not paying anything and just get the leftover stuff from the line....? I assume that the handle is disengaged as soon as people are done pumping gas, though.
Also, I'm kind of visualizing the gas "left in the line" being naturally siphoned out of the actual gas line and draining back into the underground tank after you're done pumping, although that could also be completely wrong.
Your friend does bring up an interesting topic, though. I never thought about that.

This is parttrue. There is fuel left in the line. However it is not much. Most fuel stations have two tanks. Premium, and low grade. It is mixed in the pump for 89. So, all there is, is what is in the line to the handle itself.
