2002-2003 RS6 have Twin Turbo 4.2 liter. Find one in a junk yard and make a swap. This can be done. But at what cost? That is the question. I dont understand why ???
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK

. Right now some buddies and I are getting ready to make a twin setup for a Trailblazer SS, but we have the garage to do it and one of our dad's was (passed away)a german race car driver and grew up building cars from the ground up with his dad.
Maggie makes a kit for the TBSS now. Their tune comes a little conservative, but it pulls like a freight train. There is one obstacle though and that's a stabilitrak code it throws at partial throttle. I am pretty sure the stabilitrak issue is a hp based problem. It doesn't seem to affect performance, just throws a code.

I can't believe this thread has had this much life. A B6 S4 is at minimum a $24k car if you find a high mileage 2004. The mods you guys are talking about are easily another $20k. It's just not worth it. I'd buy a B5 S4 and mod that if I wanted that much HP. I'm just doing the exhaust on my car on top of the chip. I can live with 380 HP at the crank. I just want a nice fast cruiser, but hey, to each their own.

Turbos on a B6 would need to be remote mount i would think. If you want quick and cheap (well realitivly) performance numbers go for a b5 like everyone has said. There is a much larger aftermarket parts selection for them.

Didnt know they made one, I'll let him know. The stabilitrak seems to always mess things off even when its off, we even pulled the fuse and it threw a code and wouldn't start I don't think. Right now we're just working on building his tranny soon so it can handle a TT.

you've got me convinced. I'm just around friends that have cars pushing 700+ hp to the wheels and Iwant them to have a good feel of a german car. You think gt28r turbo's would push over 500 crank hp safely?
