Default 2004 S4 Twin Turbo

I have an 96 a4 and am going to be upgrading in a few months. I've had the 01 s4 in mind for a few months and been reading on how to make it a 10 sec car. But now that i started reading up on the 2004 s4 i've been curious to know if it's possible totwin turbo or supercharge the 04 s4? I'm not very familiar withcompression ratios andwhat is recommended accordingly.

Someone makes a supercharger for it but I don't think the kit has been released yet. To do a twin setup on the B6 S4 is going to be pricey and will have to be done from scratch. I don't know if you have much knowledge yourself to do it or even have the equipment. Making your own kit requires a decent amount of money and a lot of knowledge of what you're doing. Right now some buddies and I are getting ready to make a twin setup for a Trailblazer SS, but we have the garage to do it and one of our dad's was (passed away)a german race car driver and grew up building cars from the ground up with his dad.

You can always get one made for you but thats going to cost an arm and a leg. If you have the money for this why not just buy a supercar or an R8?

MTM supercharger runs north of 20 grand. APR is suppose to release a more reasonably priced kit next year at around 8K. Also, heard rumors of VF and giac developing one,but sont quote me on the last one.

I understand what you're saying. My friend is a mechanic and is very good at it. He's got a twin turboed trans am runing easy 800hp with his custom built turbo setup. So i don't doubt his skills, by the way, his interior torched up when he welded a bracket underneath the car and burnt a hole through the floor hitting brand new engine oil..... besides the case. I want a daily driver but I don't want to be toyed by a ricer car in the road.

Good luck trying to fit twins on the 4.2 [sm=forgetit.gif], I doubt it would even be possible without SERIOUS modification. When engine is in this 800hp trans am?

now feel like i have to do it to prove you wrong.... lol. I was thinking about puting the turbo's over the back seats, sticking out of the roof with the piping running down into the floor pannel back to the engine... lol. just messing. Maybe have the turbos in the back?

its gonna be a cram to fit turbos on the 4.2... maybe farther back under the car. i would just get a good b5 s4 and do a stage 3 setup... you could run 11's and no ricers will be able to mess with you... im just stage 1 and i can take a majority of cars out there.
