Just seeing who would win off the line and highyway. I have a stock 02' S4 tip and my bro has a stock 99' C43. He pulls on me on the freeway and it's close from a stop. I'm planning to get a APR chip and exhaust. Would I have a chance after the chip and exhaust? Any thoughtsor insights. How would my carwith the chip and exhaust compete with the M3 E46?

 

I have the same exact setup that you want. A stock E46 will still pull on you on the freeway. If you're close to your bros C43 from a stop while your stock, after the chip you will smoke him. ahaha it makes that much of a difference. When i was stock i got pulled on by an STi but now i keep up with them if not pass em.

 

You need a lot more then a chip, like full exhaust with DP's, intake, & you should do the TBB & DV's.

Also get the TIP chip.

 

I guess I need more done than I thought. Thanks for the info. I have the DV's. The exhuast and chip will be coming soon. Who makes the TIP chip? I know GIAC sells it. It's funny I figured a stock MR Evo would pull on me easy. From 60 to 120 it was pretty much even. I was surprised, I talked to the guy and he said he was pushing his car hard. I figured he just couldn't shift well.
