if you want to do a coolant system "flush" you can drain and run clean water through it without having to use/buy extra coolant.

when you refill the coolant system you need to mix the G12 with water 50:50

I would love to get a chip but am terrified of blowing those turbos. Did you notice any difference between the blauparts and the ECS kits?

the blauparts kit appears to have one front motor mount, extra g12 and thread locking compound. that motor mount (snub mount) is crap. if youre gonna replace that you want to get a poly one with a bracket.

there is also this kit which is on sale while supplies last.

this one comes with a valve cover kit as well. no g12 though. vast is a very good company.

if i had to do this over again i would probably go with the kit from vast, the front motor mount(snub mount) from 034 and g12 from the cheapest place you can find on the net.

That is a pretty good deal from Vast. That coolant from Vast is a good deal considering its more than enough for the job. Do you suggest having the Snub Mount done as well while I have all this being done?

its a nice addition to help freshen up the drivetrain. i got one when i did my t-belt. you wanna take care of as much stuff as possible while youre in there and this will be accessible when doing the t-belt.

how are your diverter valves? are they still the original ones? the stock ones are prone to failure due to age and a common upgrade.

these are the factory upgraded ones from the tt.
if yours are fine then you can skip this.

I haven't noticed any problem with the valves but might replace them anyway since they are pretty inexpensive especially with how much I will be saving on parts as it is.

So when driving it tonight I noticed a noise coming from the rear. It is like a droning sound that starts at about 20mph. Think it could be wheel bearing?

i'm gonna go with it being a wheel bearing. make sure nothing is rubbing on the tires in the rear or on any belts in the engine. it could sound like its coming from the rear while driving, but could be from somewhere else.
