2001.5 Nogaro Blue w/ sport package
Alright folks, after wrecking my last B5, I've found a suitable replacement (after searching for months now!). Tell me what you think of the price.
2001.5 Nogaro Blue
sport package (blue alcantara suede seats, brushed aluminum trim, chrome mirror housings)
cold weather package (heated seats, ski sack)
Car is totally clean, never been modded, and looks pretty pristine.
65,000 Miles
$16,000
I'll have to do the timing belt service soon after getting it. Price didn't seem bad to me considering the rarity of the color combo and the sport package. Your thoughts?
-- Car is from a dealer in Pennsylvania

Yah, I tried getting him down to $15, but 16 was as low as he would go. $16 is bluebook value for an 01 in excellent condition. So, I'm prolly paying a few hundred over bluebook since it's prolly not considered excellent condition (little things like paint chips in the bumper, IMO, make it more like good condition instead of excellent)

I assume you mean 01 or 01.5?
The easiest way, in my opinion, is to check the badges. Both front and rear badges will be the newer style S4 logo. Also, the badging on the instrument cluster moved, in 2001 it was the older badge on the speedometer, in 2001.5 the badge moved to the tachometer and is now the newer style badge. Also, the badge on the steering wheel will be the newer style as well.
However, an even easier way would be to give the VIN number to Audi and have them get you the manufacture date. I believe the 01.5's were manufactured in October of 2000 and later.

im bringing back a thread from the dead but less than 5% of ALL used cars fall under EXCELLENT condition.
and with 65,000 miles, there is NO way it is considered excellent in kbb-value-wise.
