RE: 1995 Audi S6 Phone (Posted Wrong Forum 1st Time)
Hi -
I have the "hookup," or what appears to be same in the armrest...as far as I can tell all that is missing would be the actual phone handset that you talk into that rests in the armrest cradle and the cord that plugs into the armrest plug. Is your phone that you mentioned and the one that would've come in the 95 S6 the same/definitely compatible ? I honestly have no experience with car phones, per se, hence the question.
The phone would be for thecar my Dad drives. He doesn't walk so well and, in case he does forget to take his emergency cell-phone (HE HATES IT) with him, and runs into trouble out on the road - the integrated phone(if I can locate one) would serve as a back-up that would ALWAYS be there to at least call 911 and there would be no reason to movethe other portable phonefrom house to car, from the car back to the house, etc.and have to worry about having it all the time. Hence the search continues...
Please let me know if you know that yours would definitely work and, the important part - if you're willing to part with same. LOL
