18x8.5 with a 35 mm offsett. they barely fit with my brakes. Just go to Tire Rack or any other wheel website and put in the year and model and any 18" wheels that comes up will fit.

I was just a little concern with that set up rubbing becuase I had an a4 w/koni coil overs,18" wheels w/225-40-18 and it looks like there was no room for any other size and if im not mistaken the 235-40-18 are taller and wider than the 225s

Height isnt really the issue with rubbing, its the width... if you stay at or below 235 width, youre most likely fine...

I think weight is a dumb issue..unless your racing your car...it doesnt matter THAT much..either way, theyre prob an improvement over the stock wheels...

19" is not necessarily too big on the b5... It depends on the wheel..if the wheel has a lip, and esp if it has a darker color, the wheel looks smaller and 19" is a good choice... if it doesnt (like an rs4 wheel) then 18" is prob visually better...

I have heard 19" is a bit rougher ride though....as well are more prone to bend..depends on how your roads are..

My dad has an A4 with 18"s and ended up bending a rim going over railroad tracks. Weird thing is that he didn't hit the rail, he hit the corner of the wood supports. Luckily for him the rim is still drivable, he just took the tire off and bent the rim back. So be careful with your choice of wheels. Like sooks said, it all depends on how your roads are.

I think you can get away with 19s on a avant looks wise but on a normal car ther are to big
IMO I have 18s off a b6 on my avant and i love the look
Amen brutha! The car I'm getting has 19" BBS wheels and I'm sorely tempted to swap somebody with 18's for that very reason.

When I bought my 01 S4 it had 19 inch ASA ST4 wheels with 235 35 KDWs. It already had H&R coilovers and I adjusted them to the max height and it would rub all the time. My 05 S4 had the same ASA ST4s but were 18 inch with 235 35 KDWs, so I swapped them and the 18s fit great and actually looked better. It never rubs anymore. I would not go with 19s if you have it lowered.

I used to run 19's on my car. I had 225/35-19 tires and fitment was great, I just wanted more options on tires so I went back to 17's.
