Thank you all for your input. I think I'm going to go with 18's for a few reasons money and weight being the major ones.

 

For a 2000 S4 I would go with 18's. I ran 18inch BBS and then Champion Motorsport wheels and they were both great. I had no issues at all with them

 

do 18s bolt-on with no rubbing or do you need spacers?

 

I didn't run spacers on either of my wheels and I was alos lowered using H&R springs with no rubbing issues.

 

I was playing on auto trader and ther was a collage kid up in Boulder (colorado) that was trying to make his payments for school by selling his 01 avant it had 109k and i got it from him for 10,000
it is sweet. It will be a stage 3 car in a few weeks

 

what color is it? id sell my sedan if i found a nogaro avant. Stage 3 avants are the secks

 

I would go with the 18s that way you dont have to worry about rubbing issues at all.

 

hp addict you said your running 235-35 18 on a lowered car with no rubbing issues.

 

no my side wall is 40% 234/40/18's and they dont rub.

 

your wheels are 18*8 or18*8.5
