0-60 numbers a little off?
I have the dynolicious app for my IPhone. I put in the weight at 4,000lbs with driver and calibrated it. I did 2 pulls and got a best of 5.99 sec with a 2.2 60'. I've done my research and it seems like it should be closer to 5.3-5.5. Would 100 degree weather kill it that bad? I've done a stopwatch and get about the same. I would appreciate any input, thanks guys!

well these newer cars ecu's are so in tune with whats going on in the car, i wouldnt think that the computer would over look something to make it run poorly. and 100* air is HORRIBLE for any car, forced induction or n/a....remember, your car can only pull in so much air, the cooler that air is, the more dense it is.. the hotter it is, the faster those molecules are moving and so its that much less dense, but its the same amount of air... id say on a higher hp car like yours, it may mean 10 whp or so... just my guess... you could check your air filters and such.. fuel filter, just to make sure you are flowing everything possible for perfect hi-power combustion...

Also remember that those numbers are pulled from brand new cars given to journalists and are probably done in cooler weather on newer tires, on better roads, and are given many many trials. I don't know how many miles your s4 has, but factor in its age and in all probability you inability to get the same strong launch as a pro. IMHO you are spot on, sounds like the car is running well and half a second is easily attributable to hot weather and a little age.

she does have 88K on her. Audi just did all new valve cover gaskets, motor mounts, upper suspension bushings and all the coil's got replaced under the recall. I'll find a better road and try it again when we get some cooler weather thanks guys.

+1 to hot weather...it can really be devastating, especially to engines with forced air induction. I live in Denver where we get some extreme temperature fluctuation from 100 degrees (or more) in the summer to -20 (or colder) in the winter. I can tell you the 2.7 is a completely different engine between the two extremes.
