This is the first I've read about the guard being an asset. Have to admit, I've often wondered if that thing was spring loaded allowing for a quicker snap...

But unless the arm guard is proven to be illegal - the guy has hitall those homeruns and has yet to come up "hot" on urinalysis - so it's his.

With A-Rod chasing it... it won't be for long anyhow...lol...
