The payment draft they give you is usually the release. Once you endorse it and deposit it, claim's closed (assuming there are not other outstanding payments to be made on the claim).

 

Dad brought home his mid life crisis (2002 Lotus V8 Esprit) and first time he let me drive it I stalled it hardcore....then I got mad and embarassed so I brought it up to about 5k and popped that far left pedal out and left half of my dads new tires in our brand new garage floor (cobblesotne)....I was on probation for a while.....lol

 

The FIRST time he let you drive it? You mean he let you drive it AGAIN? (LOL). That car's in another league. be careful.

Hey, I got another one.

Took the car I learned to drive on (63 Ford Falcon sedan- folks car, not mine) into auto shop in high school. I was just messing around with it that day, not doing anything specific, but I was backing it in and out of the shop compound a lot. When it came time to go, I threw it into reverse instead of (D) and center-punched the rear bumper on a fence pole. Put a real nice 'V' into the bumper. I was done for!. But some more skilled guys came to my rescue. We unbolted the bumper, took it over to the machine shop, put it under a big press, and shazzam, no more 'V'. Folks never would have known, but I did tell 'em.

 

yeah...I build trust with him and showed him some cool things (like new softare and lightweight rims) That car was hottest car at prom....
funny story, I told eveyone to follow me back to my cabin, where the night and day long festivities would take place, and all the way up people felt compeled to pass me and eg me on, and my sexy little date was like "just do it" so I would downshift and nail it and blow by them. I would have to get off the highway and have a fricken sandwich before they caught up...lol...great times....great times...

 

i was showing my friends my dads new car(lexus sc430) as for the ones who dont know its a hard top conv. well i put the top down we talked yadayadayada then i went to put it back up and it didnt go up i was like damit. but i didnt relize it had to be in park i had it in reverse when i was sitting lettin my firends look at it b/c i pulled it out of the garage. idk i guess you had to be there

 

Worst experience- in my 2000 camaro i came home at 230 in the morning with a girl, left to drive her home at 6 am, and between those hrs someone broke into my car stole my flip-up screen, escort, subs and amp... really not fun

 

here it is.. this is nuts...

went back to college for senior week to spent time with my good friend that was graduating.. well we walked to this bar right down the street from the college so we wouldnt have to drive back drunk, its only about 2 miles no big deal.. all the seniors were there, it was around 11:30 and everyone wanted to leave and go to a different bar but we didnt drive so we were going to walk back to the campus and pick up a car.. then a friend of ours said im ok to drive and there is no one in my car... this kid looked ok at the time but i dididnt see what or anything he drank.. well we get into the car i was in the passenger seat my friend in the back.. we were driving down a back road that was rather familiar to me and to everyone in the car.. well we came to a 4 way intersection that was off center.. meaning you had to make a slight left if you were going to go straight other wise you would just drive over a curb and into a house.. well the kid didnt stop at the stop sign, he went right through it, went over the curb slammed on the breaks hit the conner of the house with his car after going through a bunch of shrubs, didnt skip a beat through the car in reverse, floored it did a 180 back over the curb and onto the road and went down the road like nothing happend.. now by this time i was shitting my paints.. the kid look at me and goes did that just happen... did i jut hit that house.. I looked at the kid was was like full the fuc# over now.. get out of the fing driver seat you drunk fu$% it was crazy this kid really didnt think he didnt anything.. we got to the bar and in no less then 30 minutes her was yacking in the bathroom.. we had to call his girl and have her pick us up and left his car at the bar.. it was crazy


or there was this time...

I was driving down the hill my best friend lived on in my 84 cavalier we were discussing how our driving styles though unorthadox didnt scare one another.. so i looked at him floored it, got it up to about 55 and on a sharp turn down hill pulled the ebrake up as hard as i could the car did a 360 went up an inbankment and blew two of the tires off the rims.. we just sat there and laughed.. pushed the car off the embankment and drove it 500 feet back to his house.. 30 minutes later the cops showed up as were were putting different rims on the car and asked us what happend.. we said we had a blow out.. he said ok and left.. it was funny as hell
