so, what was your first car? Let me start. I had an 88 5.0 mustang gt. When I got stationed in Spokane Washington (fairchild afb). I paid the guy $2800(this was in 97). It had glass packs and dual exhaust. The paint color was the old school ford 2 tone. Burgandy with gray lower trim. It had like 60k miles on it. I learned how to drive a 5spd in this car. I also learned to drive in the snow in this POS. I put a ton of miles on this thing delivering pizza as a second job. HUGE learning experience driving a 5.0 in the snow! I got sideways(1 to many times). I ended up rolling/spinning it outside the pizza place coming back from a delivery. Confidence+complacincy+snow= problems hah. I did learn alot driving in those conditions. Even more so as a new driver. I had it painted pearl white with black pearl stripes, and traded it in for a 94 integra gsr. Which was eventually stolen and stripped bare (that's an entirely different story but crazy also). The TT is my favorite car to date. Although, my 66 caddy was the ****! Black with red interior. God I loved that thing. Wish I still had it

My first car was a 1992 Geo Prism GSi (ie a rebadged Corolla) from my parents...make fun of the Geo all you want, but it had a 130hp DOHC engine that redlined at 7k, 4-wheel-disc, and it weighed like 2700lbs. It was a damn fun car, and skewed my car tastes to appreciate quality and ability rather than outright power - my folks almost bought a 1992 Camaro instead, so I'm glad they made the choice they did!

My first was a 1982 Datsun (by Nissan) 280ZX T-Top turbo. White exterior, red interior, fully loaded (for 1982). It had this awesome voice that would say **** like, "Fuel levels are low", or "Door is Ajar", or "Parking brake is on" when certain conditions were met. That thing was a blast. I went through two engines, a transmission, and a couple of radiators on that thing. Followed by a 1990 Jeep Wrangler Sahara straight six, lifted with a 3" body lift. Followed by a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Followed by a 2001 Honda Prelude with some fun stuff done to it. Followed by my dream car since I first saw the prototype in 1995, the Audi TT.

I'll put money on this thread getting moved to off topic...

Anyway my first car was a 95 pontiac grand prix. While that car was getting a new engine I had a 89 chevy shitalier. Hated that car with a passion! It had a bad rear axle er sumptin, so anytime someone was sitting in the back seat it would stall. Donated the shitalier once I got my pontiac back, and a few months later sold the pontiac to my cousin. Used the money from the pontiac as a down payment for my TT. It's be love ever since!

1985 CRX Si...picked it up for 500 bux with fresh paint and 207,000 miles on the clock. Traded it in two years later...was one of the most fun cars to drive, felt like you were cruising around in a go kart.

My sister totaled her third car in 18 months, and I bought it from the insurance company. $150 for a 1978 Honda Civic CVCC (one of the originals!). That car was a blast. Bought a blue door from the junk yard (the car was red), and painted it with Rustoleum (back when Rustoleum came in one color - flat rust red). The door matched perfectly!

Father had the Galant, Mother had the Jetta. They got new cars, I got both of them.
