Talk about frustrating..

I was coming off of I5 and there were two lanes that turn left at the intersection. I was in the one on the right, another lady was in the one on the left. She jumped lanes and took out my front fender, wheel, headlight, and bumper, and now my door is missing paint from trying to open it.. I figure ahh cant be mad at them.. shiat happens. Its an accident, and its part of being human. Accidents happen! Thats why we have insurance. I get a flat bed to come out and tow me home. Idiot tries driving it up on the flatbed. killed it over 7 times and just rode the clutch to get it up there. By this time I was pissed. but what can ya do. Right?

Tow truck driver is offloading the car, and BAM!! Slams it back into a truck.. so now i have more rear bumper damage. Ughh!! I was still trying to get it all sorted out from the hit and run two weeks ago!

I am going to have to get a rental car now. I dont want to get a cheap POS.. i want to get something comparable to the Audi. Their insurance told me to save the receipts and that they would get back to me by the close of business tomorrow. I really hope they dont try and stick me with some crappy car, or only allow me $20 per day for a rental..
Should their insurance cover the rental car for the total time until the car is finished being worked on?

What do i do now because of the hit and run that damaged the rear bumper and now the new damage? Can you collect twice the insurance on it?

BTW, I am not going to go through my insurance at all on any of this.. screw that!![/align]

We have been lucky to escape with no injuries so thats a positive thing

 

yea, they seem to be teasing me by throwing house insulation, buckets, cones, some wierd metal objects and always jaming me between two cars so i cant move

but dam they really hate you though, but ya as long as we are stillhealthy

make sure the shop replaces ur parts and not just bondle the hell out of u car[:@]
come in and see the replacement parts befor they install and paint
casue some shops are iffy becasue of the low money insurance comapnys give

 

ohh yeah.. it will be full replacement parts.. no crappy bondo jobs

 

Jesus Karl, maybe you should just stick to city streets for a while. Dayum, accidents suck, but as you said, that's what they are..... accidents. At least you're ok.

 

dude that freaking blows.. i would have been pissed at the truck drivers and atleast talked to the owner about that bs.. i wouldnt let that crap fly..
