(its like a bittorrent but local only - such as a college campus. on torrent when i download legal pdf files the top speed i get is 200-300 kbps, but off of this dc++ server at my school I can get the latest edition of the school newspaper at a whopping 9Mbps, or 9000 kbps... check and see if someone has a DC hub set up at your school)
