Ok, I'm not on the forum very much but I have noticed all this advertising. So, who is getting all this cash?

I guess you folks all think the internet is *FREE*, huh? Free bandwidth! Free server space! Free tech support! Whoo-hoo! Everything's FREE!!! Oh! Wait, that's right, you all *paid* to join this forum and support the necessary services, din't ya? THAT'S why you wanna know where the money goes. All you Audi Forum stockholders have a right to know how *your* money is being spent, right?

Why can't people just enjoy a good service (that they don't have to *pay* for), anymore? DFIU... Just use and enjoy it...

I agree with AWDaholic, just enjoy the service, if you don't like the ads block them. If you don't know how to block them, then just ignore them.

Well, let's see. Unless the company that hosts the site are allowing us to use space on their server out of the goodness of their hearts, the people that wrote and maintain the site are a charity and the bandwidth we use was created out of thin air, I'd say that's a pretty good guess as to where the money goes. I hope your question was meant to be sarcastic.
