Default Wheels sux

okay i spent all togather about $1200 on my wheels. Finally got them on my car and was going on the highway to go to school when at 65/70 mph and up the car shakes. Well i think the balance was off so i took it back to NTB. The balance wasn't off. Apparently i needed something to put on before putting on the wheels because the wheels didnt fit snug, it was loose that why the car was shaking. I got my wheels off ebay and cant find that piece that goes on before the wheel to make the wheel fit snug so there is no shake in the car. Where do i find that piece? I got 18' BSA wheels. (sorry if the post sounds confussing its hard to explain.) Didnt kno if anyone else had this problem?

that's bs man. if i pay over a grand for wheels, it better be a complete kit, not some piece-it-together-yourself bullsh!t....i would contact the seller and tell him he needs to send you the inserts, free of charge.....unless he stated it clearly in the auction, in which case, that's your bad....

you need to check the auction page...if he didn't state that these inserts were necessary, than you should have a case. if that's the situation, you need to contact ebay and let them know, they will contact the seller, and they should be able to get you the parts you need. if not, they can at least suspend his ebay account..

I wouldn't doubt you're SOL. If it dosn't state on the auctoin page that "these wheels are functional" then there is nothing eBay can do. As far as they are concerned... he could just claim these wheels are just for show, and he never stated they were safe to use.

well, just phone up a reputable wheel shop, say your interested in the 18" BSA whatevers... and ask if you'll need any hardware to get them to fit.

If your car shakes at 70, then something is loose... I would take them off immediately to avoid damage to your car, or your wheels... or like, you know, a horrible accident.
