* i guess youd call urself "filipino" if you were born there & / or are a citizen of that country.
* it wouldve started when that country was "officially declared a country"
you cant say im "Filipino" if the Phillipines didnt exist.
now if u say "asian / pacific islander or Anglo or Latino - whatever.." thats something else.
what my post meant was that just bec u state ur ethnic heritage
doesnt neccesarily identify your "nationality"
I dont have to "consider" myself American bec im of Filipino decent. I AM AMERICAN. period.
