hey king, you play guitar? just asking since most ppl dont apprecite vai, or santriani for that matter, unless they play guitar. same goes for hendrix

 

Self taught amateur, my moms boyfriend has played guitar for thirty years and showed me to appreciate how unbelievable those guys are and were. Jimi hendrix was so so ahead of his time

 

i totally agree, although he wasnt very technical, he just pulled sounds outta nowhere and just went nuts with it. personally i dont like vai or santriani, but i do respect the talent they have. if you REALLY wanna hear a guitar god, thats similar to hendrix, check out the late blues man Stevie Ray Vaughan, he covered alot of hendrix and imo he's one of the best guitarists ever (for the genre). i'm also a fan of randy rhoads, as he was also ahead of his time. how is it that musicians can get off the booger-sugar, but cant stay away from planes and helicopters???

they should just stick with buses.
