Question What's the fastest that you have ever gone in your car?

Hi to all,

I have a Mustang and I got it past 120+ mph on several occasions on these long UK highways. How about you guys?

My 98 A4 2.8 Tip is governed at 130 which I have hit on several occasions and when I feel that surg of slowing down because of it. I get very dissapointed.

130 MPH. I actually held it at 130 then back off because I realized with my a luck I would find the only cop on an empty highway early Sunday morning.

Let's see....

1969 International Travelall w/392 ci - 109 (truck is still running around Fairbanks somewhere)
1969 Roadrunner w/383 ci and two 3-duece logs- Over 120 (now belongs to the son of an auto dealer in San Bernardineo as far as I know)
2002 Indian Chief w/PP100 ci- 112 (sent 2 100 mph + engines back to the factory (I was a test rider) - the factory finally traded me straight across for a 2003 Indian Chief)

No vehicle I currently own has been over 95 mph. Gotten slower and smarter in my old age, lol.
And, the Chief and the Audi both have rev limiters. Chief kicks in around 127; Audi around 155, per the factory anyway. The wife's brand new Forester will do 137, and has no limiter.

I've gotten my B7 up to about 150 and it was still pulling a little.

I have a Honda CBR1100 (Blackbird) that I've gotten up to 170. THAT was a rush.
