I did 150 mph on the highway in my s4 right when i got it, but since then i keep it to roughly 120 mph or below. Theres a nice straight flat 45 mph zone near my house where i routinely hit 120 when i have my summer tires.

Interestingly, the fastest I've ever driven was also in the oldest, slowest car I've ever owned....120 in a '92 100S. Now I've made it easier on myself and maintain a constant speed of around 70-75. Makes me drive safer because I don't have to keep searching for speed limit signs, especially on city streets where they're harder to see. [sm=smiley2.gif] Just last week my friend got a ticket for 112. For some strange reason the cop didn't accept his [real] excuse that he was late for chess team practice.

 

135 in a 2006 BMW 530xi. That car just hunkers down and stays straight at those kind of speeds. On the other hand, my A4 with its (haha) stock 15 inch wheels does not handle as well. The dumbest thing I ever did was take it on the Robert Moses Bridge, South Shore of Long Island, and bring it up to 125. Why so dumb? If I blew a tire, I had a 60 foot fall into 8 (eight) feet of water. Talk about really dead. It's that reason I don't go fast like that anymore.

 

I got my old car (1994 V8 quattro) up to 130 and stopped because of the limit on the tires, it still had a lot left it in

177 on my motorcycle..... in the s4, 140 and plenty of room to go....

bluovalguy- the alltezza sig had me lmao! i think i sat there and watched it like 10-15 times just lol!

 

130 the other night in my A4. Could have gone faster but had to get off for my exit.
