OK - Panda's "I just got DSL" post got me thinking.
1960's - No nuthin' except hand-held digital calculators
1970's - 'Pong' and cable TV
1980's - Basic personal computers
1990's - Satellite TV, Cell phones, DSL
2000's - (So far) Cell phones w/ video; DVD's
........
What will we see in 2020? (Try to be realistic)

 

providing the world is not destroyed before 2020 probably domesticated robots to do house chores

probably some uber electronics too: EX every house being equiped with computers that run every aspect of the house.

 

we'll probly have a new fuel sourse for cars
and probly what nasty said

 

i think the world will be pretty much wiped out by then.....honestly

I agree with the alternate fuel source being implemented. Although I'm very unhappy with some of the solutions that have been suggested. They're great for solving the problem that needs to be solved I guess, but no matter what the alternate fuel of your choice may be, they all seem to have forgot about us motorsports enthusiasts. I guess what I'm trying to say is, you're not going to be seeing any 4 sec. top fuel dragsters running on hydrogen any time soon.

 

cars will be runnin on hydrogen, ill still be owning an audi. Robots and computers will be taking out alot jobs for people.
