Just got back from the Porsche dealership and they had the new Cayman S on the floor for show only. The car looks amazing in person. Much better than in mags. It sounds freakin' awesome, interior is modern and tight, and I would stick my neck out and say that in person it looks better than the 997.
My associate there told me he had just come back from Germany where he tested one around the 'Ring and he said it was phenomenal, and only slightly slower than the 997.
Now, I'm thinking of trading my E55 in for one but I wanted to dump this car and put the money to better use, to coincide with the whole simplifying my life goal. Uhmm? And I am still trying to work out the whole Audi swap issue.
I also want a White Evo 9 to compliment the STi. I just love rally cars

get rid of all that and just buy the new rs4 when it comes out. and also get a lada. great cars to trash.

The FQ400 was super limited production, I think 100 cars, so comparing it to a regular production car, even one like the Gallardo. is kind of moot. Plus the cost of equivalent of $85,000 US. So you could do that, or buy a regular Evo VIII for $30k, drop $10k in it and have the same car.

My friend has one back in Wales. Yeah this car is just sick. The Evo Mag editorial team raced one around Silverstone, if I am not mistaken, against a Gallardo and it beat the Gallardo comfortably. 3.4secs 0-60mph and ridiculous amounts of grip. 500 were made in total for UK only.
Like Silver said getting one over here would set you back at least the 85K, probably over 100K with shipping etc. I know a guy down in Florida was trying to get one over here but i don't know if he succeeded or not?

1987 quattro coupe, then turn it into a freaking beast. 2000 S4 nogaro, 6spd low miles yea thatd be nice :-D

That car got to 100mph so fast I thought it was a dream. Now with the supercharged AMGs, this thing may seem like old hat, but I doubt it. It probably has better realibility too!
Buy a used AMG and don't take the depreciation hit. They are selling so many now that in a year or so it will be a buyer's market. Beware of the Merc mostly built in (and with parts from) Mexico and the US though. That ain't a car from Ingolstadt or Stuttgart. Check the VIN and know what you are getting.
