I'm in that C4S camp too. The acceleration and handling are just crazy in these cars. I have never read a good reason for why Porsche won't make a AWD turbo car these days. I would want a 997 turbo over the 996 though. I never liked the 996 front end/headlights. You can't switch that out either.

I'm looking for an RS6, but I've got to use the money I had put aside for that into part of business, so that is on hold for a little while longer. Really, I do want an Audi.

And against my better judgement - I still like LandRovers. I saw one at SEMA that was the best looking SUV to ever grace the planet. I will be able to talk myself out of that though and start looking for a nice boat for summer. One of the perks of not being married is that there is no one to say "No" to any of my brilliant purchases.

So many cars i wnat. A kid i know (this is no joke) is getting the 2006 M5, Yes the V10 he is 18 and tehy are buying 2 of them. His dad is getting one too. They will have after the do the car switches, a X5 4.8, E55 AMG, (might be sellin this) SL 55 AMG, and 2 M5 V 10, black and blue. 20k over sticker! They own a chain of horse breeders and 3 other large (mutli million a year companies) businesses.

I might get to drive it! He doesnt care, hes a very nice guy.

I'm probably going to be buying a GTI soon, after I have enough to buy it plus 6 months of insurance. Its funny, right now my parents pay for gas for my Audi, but any additional cars I want, I am on my own. Even though I could get free gas for the Audi from them, I will probably drive the GTI way more.

 

Call me rice, but i have a soft spot for a 04 black sti, gold wheels. Modded of course.

 

i love the STi but not as much as the Evo FQ400 it is as fast as a Lambo Gallardo.

 

The FQ400 was super limited production, I think 100 cars, so comparing it to a regular production car, even one like the Gallardo. is kind of moot. Plus the cost of equivalent of $85,000 US. So you could do that, or buy a regular Evo VIII for $30k, drop $10k in it and have the same car.

 

Just got back from the Porsche dealership and they had the new Cayman S on the floor for show only. The car looks amazing in person. Much better than in mags. It sounds freakin' awesome, interior is modern and tight, and I would stick my neck out and say that in person it looks better than the 997.

My associate there told me he had just come back from Germany where he tested one around the 'Ring and he said it was phenomenal, and only slightly slower than the 997.

Now, I'm thinking of trading my E55 in for one but I wanted to dump this car and put the money to better use, to coincide with the whole simplifying my life goal. Uhmm? And I am still trying to work out the whole Audi swap issue.

I also want a White Evo 9 to compliment the STi. I just love rally cars
