we really are going to run this car in another derby, it really was THAT fun. After this one finally dies, we have a free 78 ford fairlane (or is it a fairmont?) lined up from a buddy of ours. This may become a regular hobby for us. we junk cars for scrap already, we might as well have fun with them first.

In retrospect, we needed more motor. the 6.0 L in the caddy moved it good, but the guys who went to the end had pretty built motors, and they were pushing the other cars all around the ring. the dude in the pit next to us had a 450 horse chevy engine in his car, and he said that he had 3 more motors on stands at home waiting for him to find cars for them.
