If you can get your hands on a Kimber 1911 you'll be happy. Smooth and accurate. I'll be getting one as soon as I return from the sandbox.
I don't like the way the Glocks sit in my hand and they have a really obnoxious clack when fired.

I've got a pretty small collection of guns right now:

Beretta 9000s Type F (with Beretta 96 mag adaptors)
Beretta 92FS Stainless (30rnd extended mags)
I've spent hundreds of hours in training with them. It's more of a passion now than a hobby, and my cars are very jealous.

hopefully i should get my licence soon. i have taken the safty corse. in my city i have to have three peope not related to me right a letter of recomendation of why i shoud be able to carry. these three people should have there gun licence also. it is just a pain...

haha im still 20 so no class 3 yet. i will apply for one when i get back state side after my 21st birthday. i want the compact as a carry weapon in .40 cal. then i will get the .45 in tactical for the supressor. no need to carry a supressed gun around town lol. what variant did you get? i still have to figure out what one i should get

When i bought it they let me try several different types but i really didn't notice a difference.
