What do you carry?

I Carry for Self-defense, that is what it says on my conceal permit i don't know how i got that because their are other people in this state that tried for self-defense and could not get it so they got one for hunting / fishing. I currently carry a Taurus PT-140 Millennium Pro .40S&W.

Got a holster for it yet? Curious as to which one as I am looking.
What's the accuracy like for you?
Speaking of which, instead of people posting their "ghetto poses" which i am not crazy about looking at boys with guns (girls on the other hand...) how bout posting your handgun patterns at 20-25 yards. (yea yards not feet)

nice,
nice holster too, little bit higher than kholster or supertuck but looks like it would work great. Definately bookmarking that one. Comfort and ease of use is what I'm looking for.
If anybody wants a free target I use this one.

It prints out nicely at about 8x10
The bullseye ends up being about the size of a quarter. I hit it once at 25yds but usually I do well just to score 6s or better with it.

i have my holster set up with both clips secured in the middle slot. i can raise or lower it about an inch either way this is what it looks like. sorry the angle is off because i took the pic but you get the idea

im skinny as hell, im not sure I could use an IWB holster comfortably. Just not enough padding in the midsection to stop **** from grinding into hipbone, etc. Been looking a bunch, but havent seen anything that I feel would be worth it. Skinny guy suggestions? Is my thinking flawed?

i'm really skinny too and i find that what really makes the most difference in concealing is where you place the holster. that is assuming you don't have a deagle or something ridiculous. i think your best bet would be going over to the powderhorn in williston to try concealing various guns without a holster as well as getting a feel for what holds and points nice in your hand. then once you find a good thing you can try holsters and see how it works out. they would probably even let you open some holster to see how things work out.
anyway when carrying a very small weapon such as my old ppk/s i could keep it right in the front of my pants IWB or even sometimes in my pocket... however i prefer to keep my USPc and mid sized SIGs concealed IWB between 3:30 and 5 o'clock on my waist (kind of like jeff), which for me hides perfectly even with tshirts. the sweet spot depends on the clothing and person but since finding that spot on myself i have even switched to keeping smaller guns in that location i am most comfortable drawing from that position. as a righty i use my left hand to grab my shirt at the abdomen pulling up to the left which exposes the weapon and allows me to draw perfectly from the right.
a few of my friends and i are going to the range tomorrow around 5ish if youre interested, its a non-membership location out towards charlotte.
