Update on the M1A

Got a Sadlak rail and the Nikon Laser Rangefinder Scope and it is totally cool! up to 12x and can lase out to just under 800 yards effectively.

Just bought another .45. I did some research about the .45 GAP and the .45 ACP. The GAP is comparable to the ACP in velocity and power because the GAP is +P from the factory. So, if you load your ACP +P, or use a standard load in the GAP, the ACP wins. It's kinda like a car engine. Tuning rules but displacement will always win.

 

damn you i want the lda para usa in .45 but i want it in all black. let me know how she shoots because xmas is just around the corner for me

 

I'm thinking it's going to need a bit of work before it's really fun, it has the old style extractor and they tend to stovepipe a lot. If it does that, I'll send it back to Para and go for the power-extractor upgrade.

 

is it an older gun or do they just have the power extractor as an up grade. i would do that even if you never have a stovepipe because you might have that happen at the wost time

 

The power extractor is featured on all their new guns, and they offer it as an upgrade on all their guns. I'm going for it, because I hate malfunctions.

Cops do. Just like standing in the rain doing paperwork, too. Actually, I've met some LEO's who only ever go to the range for yearly qualifying, and they've never once cleaned their gun because they think they won't ever have to use it. That's really sad.
