You talk tough for a guy who's guns are made of plastic! Actually, I just bought the 220 a few days ago and haven't gotten any range time in with it. I've played with a few in the past, but it's brand spankin' new to me. I'll get some marks up probably next weekend when I can hit the range and I don't feel like ****.

You know on the last gen 92's, they had a plastic recoil spring guide rod? Weak.

 

Did they really...... Thats just stupidity! That could be the cause of an officers or military mans death!

 

I guess that's why the M9 is no longer the sidearm of choice for the military.

 

I've switched from my Hydra-Shocks to Gold-Dot ammo. More expansion, less fragmentation and more reliable feeding. I used HST for a while, but I wasn't impressed with the expansion. HST's are great if you're ever attacked by ballistics gel wearing four layers of denim.

Notice the way on the Gold Dot round, the copper jacket is formed to points inside. That makes for razor-sharp edges when it expands, without them breaking off prematurely.

 

So i have an XD 9 that i absolutely love it is perfect for a noob gun owner like me. It is my first handgun and I just use it for the range shooting (i guess if it came down to it I could use it for home defense as well). My next gun purchase will be a shotgun to shoot sporting clays. My girlfriends family is very into clays and have taken me a couple times, I have to admit it is a ton of fun. Does anyone here shoot clays alot? Any suggestions for an entry level shotgun that would be good for mostly sporting clays? I have no idea in terms of the price range I am looking at but in the economy the cheaper the better! Thanks in advance!

 

I've shot clays with my Saiga-12, but it's not quite kosher for that.
