I am looking to get myself a dirt bike. I dont know what kind of class i should be looking at. I am 17 so i want something big and quick but not fast enough that i will could get hurt on b/c i wasnt ready for something like that. Its gonna be used for mostly trails (sand) and maybe a lil on the streets (doesnt need to be legal). I was looking at a KTM or something along those lines. Also should i get a 2 stroke or 4? I have some things that are 2 stroke so i can mix the oil and everything if those bikes are better. Also how much maintence do these need. I prolly wont be starting it every week so i want something that can sit for a few months and then will just start up.

Btw- I have a modded enduro 350, its pretty quick.

 

what does one thing have to do with the other? Im lost? I dont plan on modding it just riding it. I wanna a toy plus i have some places to ride it.

 

KTM 200. Quicker than a 125, but more tractable than a 250.

The KTM 250 four-stroke is good too, not quite as fast overall, but good torque makes for a good trail bike.

 

Not to familiar w/dirt bikes, but does this mean you're abandoning your Audi??? Apply those funds toward that Supercharger you wanted. I'm not trying to discourage from buying the bike, but I believe you'll be better off with a S/C Audi than a dirt bike. JMO.

 

don't get a 2-stroke. two strokes are strictly motocross bikes, they're not good for cruising at all. get a 4-stroke 250...the honda cr250x would be perfect for what you want. it's a motocross/enduro with a headlight & taillight

 

great I can hear it coming... next week.. should I get this bike or save and get this one.. I got 20$ that says APG doesnt even get a bike
