Its a moving map, that shows what parts of the world are getting sun, pretty neat stuff thou.

Yep. The "swoop" will reverse in the summer when the earth's orientation, relative to the sun, changes. There is also a time of year when the lines that represent sunlight will be straight.

 

I'm just curious how it does the diff parbolic, light crap on the map, like mechanicly, thats just the way my mind works.

What do you consider reasonable, I would think that sporty.com the pilot shop might have something like that or the discovery store.

 

red - It's a GeoChron. I got it from a reseller that sells them cheaper than the factory, but the GeoChron site is better for checking it out.

And pounding urine samples is a fine NYEve tradition. Didn't you know? Go do it right now or you will have a $hitty year!

 

I haven't taken it apart, but there are several screens that are in motion as the clock operates. I'll let you know more about the change of seasons transition when I see it.
