What color should I paint my car? Racing stripe? Flake? I've looked through hundreds of colors and still can't decide. I work in an autobody shop and its that time of the year when we are slowing down so I have some time on my hands. I could literally do anything I want. Heres a link of my album

If you're going to do a complete job (jambs, underhood, trunk, etc), how about black with a colored pearl in the clear (red, blue, etc)? I've seen that in person a few times and the effect in the sunlight is amazing.

 

I'm gonna say Europa Mica Blue, but then again I might be biased. Either that or one of the Mercedes white, because they are sexy.

 

i have to agree with ImTheDevil, black is sex, and the pearl would look sick!

 

Or you could murder it out with a matte flat black, that also looks sexy


or paint it like a bass boat with a glitter finish

 

Thanks for the input! Definitively going to do jambs, underhood, etc. and we just did a motorcycle black with red flake in the clear and it did look amazing. The only problem is I do a lot of winter driving = salt, dirt, and sand = plenty of swirl marks. I'm not ruling it out tho. Not a fan of matte black. On my Acura Legend coupe I did a Mercedes light blue metalic that had a silver flop in it. I think I'm down to either that color, a three stage white, orange or black with a flake.
